Please note that SCHED does not transfer into HOPIN.  SCHED is our preview site, so you can see schedules, session information and access resources posted by speakers.  Building a schedule of sessions you want to attend in SCHED will not automatically place you into a Hopin Session.  You will have to join the Conference in Hopin, then click on the Session tile to participate in your desired sessions in Hopin. 

You must be registered for the conference to gain access to Hopin and participate in any of the sessions listed here on SCHED. SCHED requires a different log-in than MACUL’s registration system.

Conference Workshops require pre-registration and paying a separate fee to participate in the workshop. Adding a workshop to your schedule in SCHED does not enroll you in a workshop. Visit maculconference.org to register for a workshop.

Pamela Owens has over 30 years of experience in public ­school education as both a teacher and administrator. She's had the pleasure of teaching kindergarten, elementary, high school, and college students as a classroom teacher, literacy specialist, and special education teacher in Chicago, Lincolnshire, Bahrain, Spain, Italy, Turkey, and Japan. She has successfully used the Read Naturally Strategy as an intervention program for developing readers of all ages and from many diverse backgrounds, using in-person, virtual and hybrid learning. Throughout her teaching career, Pam has been actively involved with professional development in the areas of assessment, literacy development, teacher evaluation, and technology integration.
