Hello! My name is Samantha Casadonte. I am currently a Master of Public Health Candidate at Grand Valley State University. My background lies in working with individuals with disabilities in both the classroom, home, and clinical setting. My most recent experience is working as an applied behavior analysis behavior technician, working with children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder. My current research is using the Glide App as a quick and easy way to create content to assist in teaching health behaviors to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The glide app has numerous possibilities for all populations, using it in intervention is just one of them. Join my session to learn more about the app and the need for health equity among students regardless of ability.
Using the Development of a Mobile Application to Teach Health Behaviors to Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder with Social Stories is this Friday from 9:00-9:45am. I hope to see you there!!
