Please note that SCHED does not transfer into HOPIN.  SCHED is our preview site, so you can see schedules, session information and access resources posted by speakers.  Building a schedule of sessions you want to attend in SCHED will not automatically place you into a Hopin Session.  You will have to join the Conference in Hopin, then click on the Session tile to participate in your desired sessions in Hopin. 

You must be registered for the conference to gain access to Hopin and participate in any of the sessions listed here on SCHED. SCHED requires a different log-in than MACUL’s registration system.

Conference Workshops require pre-registration and paying a separate fee to participate in the workshop. Adding a workshop to your schedule in SCHED does not enroll you in a workshop. Visit maculconference.org to register for a workshop.

Ronald Madison is an Instructional Technologist and Designer for the Genesee Intermediate School District. Prior to this role, Ronald worked in an elementary and central office as acting Instructional Technology Coordinator and other roles for a total of 27 years. Ronald is a passionate educator who works as an advocate for marginalized groups in education and has an unwavering commitment to providing opportunities for all students to engage in unique and relevant learning experiences. He believes in the purposeful disruption of the status quo and encourages teachers to exercise autonomy and utilize meaningful collaboration to better meet the needs of all students.

He has sat on the Executive Board of Directors as the Treasurer for multiple terms with the Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning (MACUL). In 2020 Ronald was invited to serve on the Board of Directors for the Michigan High School Esports Federation (MiHSEF). The Regional Educational Media Center (REMC) Association of Michigan has committees for Classroom Maker which he has served on as well. 

Ronald is a co-author of the first #EduMatch Snapshot in Education 2016 with 19 amazing educators from across the globe. And now writing another book with other highly educated black males. A children’s book from a black boy’s perspective.
