Please note that SCHED does not transfer into HOPIN.  SCHED is our preview site, so you can see schedules, session information and access resources posted by speakers.  Building a schedule of sessions you want to attend in SCHED will not automatically place you into a Hopin Session.  You will have to join the Conference in Hopin, then click on the Session tile to participate in your desired sessions in Hopin. 

You must be registered for the conference to gain access to Hopin and participate in any of the sessions listed here on SCHED. SCHED requires a different log-in than MACUL’s registration system.

Conference Workshops require pre-registration and paying a separate fee to participate in the workshop. Adding a workshop to your schedule in SCHED does not enroll you in a workshop. Visit maculconference.org to register for a workshop.

Using the Writing Process In Synchronous and Asynchronous Settings

Research supports writing instruction that incorporates the writing process. In remote learning environments, teachers can scaffold steps of the process through synchronous and asynchronous activities that support student-centered learning aligned with ELA and ISTE Standards. In this session, participants will learn how to build in time for students to plan, draft, peer review, revise and present their writing in virtual settings.
