Since 2014-15, I have run the Bedford Virtual Academy through Bedford Public Schools which currently serves students in grades 6-12.  Prior to that, I taught in the resource room as a special education teacher at the secondary level for 17 years.  In addition to my teaching roles, I am a first-year co-coach of our Esports team that has me completely out of my comfort zone.  (The things we do for our students! :))  I attended Central Michigan University (Go Chips!) for my BS in Education and Defiance College in Defiance, OH for my MA in Education.  My husband, four kids, and I recently moved to Temperance, MI before living in Ohio for 25 years.
