Please note that SCHED does not transfer into HOPIN.  SCHED is our preview site, so you can see schedules, session information and access resources posted by speakers.  Building a schedule of sessions you want to attend in SCHED will not automatically place you into a Hopin Session.  You will have to join the Conference in Hopin, then click on the Session tile to participate in your desired sessions in Hopin. 

You must be registered for the conference to gain access to Hopin and participate in any of the sessions listed here on SCHED. SCHED requires a different log-in than MACUL’s registration system.

Conference Workshops require pre-registration and paying a separate fee to participate in the workshop. Adding a workshop to your schedule in SCHED does not enroll you in a workshop. Visit maculconference.org to register for a workshop.

Just in the last two years I have become a K-5 STEM Teacher. Our district was fortunate to be part of the George Lucas Edutopia/MSU MLPBL Study that recently released its results.  This project based learning curriculum is fully aligned to the NGSS and infused with language and mathematics connections. Along with the MLPBL curriculum, our district is using the platform from the University of Michigan Center for Digital Curricula.  Collaborify Roadmaps is a digital map for students to access and respond to PDFs, view or respond in video and create an animation as a model or response in a virtual notebook.  The CDC at U of M has premade maps for curriculum for all 5 subject areas K-5 using open source materials. Teachers can access these maps, modify them or create their own using the platform.
